The park is not offering educational programs at the site during the closure.  However, teachers interested in working with park staff to plan an educational experience in an Olmsted-designed park in Boston’s Emerald Necklace are encouraged to contact the park Education Specialist at 617-201-7223 or 617-201-7217.

To receive an educators’ packet, simply send the park an e-mail (please use the link on our home page) or contact the park headquarters at 617-566-1689. The packet includes brief biographies of Frederick Law Olmsted and his sons, a collection of images and quotes pertaining to Olmsted-designed projects, a park brochure, and information on educational programs and materials available through the National Park Service.
